Lisa has always loved performing and took her first steps on stage at the tender age of three with her local dance school.  She continued dancing, acting and singing locally in Cornwall in a variety of roles including Jane in Mary Poppins, Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk, Louisa in The Sound of Music, Narrator in Joseph, Peachum in Brecht's The Threepenny Opera and Sally Bowles in Cabaret. This ingrained knowledge of performance and the experience gained gives Lisa a performative edge, displaying grace and beauty, as well as great strength and agility.

Lisa discovered circus at the age of 18 whilst working as a coach and performer with Circus of the Kids in the USA.  She continued to work there for seven years, with Assistant Director and Head Rigger among her roles.  She also dedicated her dissertation to the effects of community circus with youth at risk.  So the sawdust stayed in her veins and after gaining a first in her degree  in performing arts at King Alfred's College (now the University of Winchester), she went back to the circus, dividing her time between her love of all things aerial and travelling the world.

She then decided it was time to put her backpack away and develop her circus skills at Circus Maniacs in Bristol.  She has since performed nationally and internationally on Silks, Aerial Hoop, Rope and Doubles Trapeze.

In addition, Lisa also has vast experience in teaching adults and young children all aerial skills and basic ground skills.

She has an enhanced CRB check.
